Indian tourists favour Udaipur and Goa

April 19, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:43 am IST - Mumbai:

Indians continue to give preference to Udaipur when it comes to vacationing, and have also shown their likings for Colva in Goa as a tourist destination this summer, according to a report.

The summer trends report by Hotels.com is based on searches on the website from January 1-March 31 for bookings for April and May.

When it comes to travelling international, Indians love to bathe in the sun and clear blue water while travelling to Pattaya in Bangkok or the tropical Maldives, and to go shopping in effervescent Singapore.

Patong in Bangkok is the emerging destination that has captured the interest of Indians this year, it added. —PTI
