Talk on black economy at IIMK

Public finance expert Arun Kumar will deliver a talk on ‘Black Economy in India’ at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) as part of the institute’s distinguished public lecture series, at 3 p.m. on September 4.

Prof. Kumar is an expert on black economy with several books and articles on the subject to his credit.

The proposed talk will cover various issues such as the approximate volume of black money in the country, its impact in the economy, reasons for the existence of black economy, technicalities involved in handling black money held abroad, and how to bring it back to India, said an IIMK release here.
