: Akash Biju Peter from SAI Centre, Kozhikode, and Anupriya Shaju from Malabar Sports Academy, Puloorrampara, will lead the Kozhikode District team for the National Youth Inter-district Athletics Championship to be held at Vishakhapatanam from September 5 to 7. The other members of the team include Anukool Joseph, Nikhil P. Soman (Malabar Sports Academy), Basil Muhammed (SAI Centre), Athul Johnson Thomas (Gramin Sports Academy, Chakkittapara), Basil Mathai (Puthupady Deepthi Sports Academy), Jebin Babu (St. Johns’ HS, Nellipoil), Vinitha Vijayan, Soumya V.S., Jomel Benny (Malabar Sports Academy), Neha Tom Merin (Gramin Sports Academy) and Jasmine (Poilkave HSS). Secretary of the District Athletic Association V.K. Thankachan is the coach for the team. The members of the team shall report at the Kozhikode Railway Station at 6 a.m. on September 2 with original birth certificate, four photographs and proof of identification, a press release said.
