India Post will launch the operations of its ATMs in the district from Tuesday.
The new ATMs will function at the Civil Station and at the Mananchira Head Post Office.
District Collector N. Prasanth will inaugurate the ATM at a function at the Civil Station at 10 a.m.
Customers having a savings account at any post office can make transactions at these ATMs. The ATMs cards in the name of the account holder can be obtained from the post office.
The facility has been arranged in such a way that instant cards without names could also be obtained from the post offices.
