BJP govt. dividing people, says Pannyan

September 07, 2016 02:32 am | Updated September 22, 2016 05:26 pm IST - Kozhikode:

Communist Party of India (CPI) leader Pannyan Ravindran has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the Centre, which rode to power promising that paradise would be created, is now diving people on the basis of caste and religion.

Speaking at a family get-together organised in connection with the first death anniversary of CPI Kutttiyadi mandalam secretary N.K. Saseendran here on Tuesday, Mr. Ravindran said the BJP government had cleverly adopted the divide and rule policy that had been tactically done by the erstwhile British empire. Secular forces should unite against the fascist rule of the BJP government, he said.

CPI district executive member P. Suresh Babu presided over the function.
