Amnesty seminar tomorrow

Amnesty International, in association with Markaz Karanthur, is organising a seminar on the legal issues of expatriates on September 3. The seminar ‘Safe and peaceful life abroad’ will be held at Markaz Arts and Science College convention centre at Karanthur at 10 a.m. Niharika Betkerur, a social worker, will deliver the key note address. The seminar is part of a campaign run by Amnesty International world wide for the safety of Indian workers abroad. The seminar will discuss how the existing laws could be amended.

It will also discuss the political and social issues concerning immigration in India.
