Veerappan’s wife lashes out against Ramgopal Varma

July 02, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 08:27 am IST - CHENNAI:

Muthulakshmi Veerapan, wife of slain smuggler, Veerappan, has appealed to the people of Tamil Nadu not to pay and watch Ramgopal Varma’s latest, ‘ Villathi Villain Veerappan ’.

She said that ‘all the incidents shown in the film are incorrect’. “Everyone knows that my husband smuggled and sold sandalwood, but nobody talks about who he sold it to,” she said.

Muthulakshmi also claimed that Ramgopal Varma duped her into selling the Tamil dubbing rights to the film.

“Since I can’t read English, he had included Tamil dubbing rights as well,” she said. — Staff Reporter
