Trains to be delayed at Tada today

Two long-distance trains will halt at Tada station on Wednesday owing to engineering works between Sulurpeta and Tada. A Southern Railway press release said that the Chennai–Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra Andaman Express will be delayed at Tada by 45 minutes and the Chennai–Vijayawada Jan Shatabdi Express will be delayed by 25 minutes.

The Ernakulam – Patna bi-weekly will be operated on the wrong line between Tada and Sulurpeta and hence, reach Gudur late by 35 minutes. Due to the work, the Chennai – Sulurpeta EMU (no. 42401) will be operated till Elavur. EMU no. 42403 from MMC to Sulurpeta EMU will be operated only till Tada; train no. 42402 will be operated between Tada and MMC; train no. 42404 will be operated from Elavur to MMC and train no. 42850 will be operated between Tada and Chennai Beach.
