TNCC president E.V.K.S. Elangovan on Thursday released a booklet containing a list of 25 allegations against the AIADMK government in the State.

He said the party decided to take the issues to the electorate, six months after submitting the memorandum to the Governor.

Main plank

Addressing a press meet here at Sathyamurthy Bhavan, the party headquarters, he said this would be the main plank of the party campaign for the Assembly elections.

The TNCC president alleged that there were “irregularities” in every government department including electricity, highways, higher education, school education and transport.

CBI probe demanded

Mr. Elangovan, who claimed his party had been successful in cancelling land allocation for the Coca-Cola plant in Perundurai and securing the arrest of former Agriculture Minister S.S. Krishnamoorthy in connection with the suicide of senior engineer S. Muthukumarasamy in Tirunelveli last year, demanded a CBI probe into the suicide.

Among the irregularities listed in the booklet, one is of the alleged collection of bribe for transfers in the school education department.
