Kauvery Hospital launches critical care app

February 07, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:32 am IST - CHENNAI:

Kauvery Hospital on Wednesday launched a critical care app that will act as a quick reference guide for clinic staff to recognise and respond to acutely ill patients, a press release said.

The app will provide a systematic and structured approach for staff, and has been developed in Chennai as a collaborative effort with the Greater Manchester Critical Care Network, UK. The app helps reduce damage caused by sepsis: it will support doctors to quickly assess and identify patients with a ‘sepsis screening tool.
