The Secretary and Administrative Professionals contest for Tamil Nadu region was held in the city on August 29. Arasi Shanmugam, an employee of Murugappa Group won the title and Hema Vinod of IBM was the runner-up.
This contest, organised by the Indian Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals (IASAP), is a yardstick for administrative professionals to benchmark themselves with the best in the profession, across Asia.
It is held once in two years and is open to all management secretaries and administrative professionals. The regional winner will compete with the all-India winners at the national convention, which is being held in Hyderabad in September 2015. The national winners will then compete with the winners of the Asia Pacific countries which will be held in a country in the Asia Pacific region.
