Fortis Malar Hospital on Tuesday launched the Fortis Comprehensive Epilepsy Centre.

The centre aims at combating epilepsy and consistently delivering results comparable to the best available in the world, a press release said.

The centre is aided by an evaluation set up, a team of doctors and caregivers.

Over 100 successful epilepsy surgeries have been performed in recent years by the team of doctors, the release said.

Campaign from Feb 8

As part of observing World Epilepsy Day, the hospital is organising an epilepsy check campaign from February 8 to 29, encouraging the general public with pre-existing problems to get subsidised evaluations and consultations with the hospitals’ specialists.
