23 Anna University rank-holders get degrees

The 12{+t}{+h}graduation day of Valliammai College, a part of the SRM Group of institutions, was held on Sunday.

Among the 813 students, who received their degrees, there were 23 Anna University rank-holders. B. Chidambararajan, college principal, presented the college report and spoke about research activities, project work and value added courses which the institution offered.

T.P. Ganesan, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Planning and Development, SRM University, and Director of Valliammai College, urged all the graduates to follow the basic principles of life. H. Devaraj, vice-chairman of UGC, New Delhi, was the chief guest.
