Home Minister G. Parameshwara said that there is no scope for unions and indiscipline in the police department.

Speaking to reporters after inaugurating a mass marriage program at Siddarabetta in Koratagere taluk of Tumakuru district on Monday, Dr. Parameshwara said that he is not aware about the protest by police personnel, who are planning to take mass leave demanding that their demands be fulfilled. Some of their demands include recruit new personnel to fill vacancies, reduction of work load, besides improving salaries.

He said Chief Minister is reviewing their demands and is planning to provide more facilities to the cops.
