K.V. Thrilokchandra, Deputy Commissioner of Kolar, has been chosen for the SKOCH Order-of-Merit Award for meritorious civil service.

According to a press release, the award, instituted by the Gurgaon-based organisation, will be presented at the 45th SKOCH summit scheduled in September this year.

The jury has selected Mr. Thrilokchandra among others considering his contribution to the digitisation of municipal properties records and construction of household individual toilets, the release said.

Mr. Thrilokchandra and his team gave a presentation on the projects at the national-level convention held in Mumbai in June. “The award is a recognition to the team work of various officials and staff,” Mr. Thrilokchandra has said.
