CBSE warns of fake email

May 01, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:45 am IST - BENGALURU:

The CBSE has clarified that the email, which claimed that AIPMT-2016 to be held on Sunday has been cancelled due to internal issues faced by the board and that students need to resubmit application form for NEET phase-2, was “fake”.

Some students also received SMS with similar messages.

The officer on special duty for AIPMT clarified that no such communication has been sent by AIPMT Unit of CBSE and it is the “mischievous handiwork of unscrupulous elements.” He said that AIPMT exam (that will now be called NEET) will be held between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. as scheduled.

I am writing seven entrance tests without knowing which one will be valid. What is the point of holding NEET this year if we are anyway writing multiple exams?
