BMTC driver injured in serial accident

A BMTC bus driver was injured in a serial accident involving three parked vehicles on Saraswathipuram Main Road in Nandini Layout on Thursday morning.

According to Rajajinagar Police, Venkatachalappa, bus driver, lost control over the bus allegedly because of brake failure. The bus rammed a parked lorry which in turn hit a car and then a two-wheeler. There was no one in the parked vehicles.

The BMTC bus was hired by Infosys on contract. The accident occurred at around 6.15 a.m. when the driver was on his way to pick up employees from their homes.
