Three-day conference begins

A three-day international conference on being human in multi-cultural traditions, being organised by the Prof. K. Satchidananda Murthy Centre for Religious Studies of Department of Philosophy of Andhra University and Research in Values and Philosophy (RVP), commenced here on Tuesday.

Principle District Judge V. Jaya Surya, DRM of Waltair Division Chandralekha Mukherjee, Commissioner of Police Amit Garg, Principal of AU College of Arts and Commerce Sundara Rao, former Vice-Chancellors V. Balamohana Das and George Victor, Ken Gnakan, HoD of Philosophy and conference director K.R. Rajani and others spoke while Chancellor of GITAM University K. Ramakrishna Rao delivered keynote address.
