The Flotilla of the Eastern Naval Command gave an impressive display of its capabilities at the full rehearsal of the Operation Demonstration organised as part of the Navy Day celebrations.

The operational display was a show of the capacity of the officers and sailors of the Eastern Naval Command to bounce back from the massive destruction caused to the Naval Base by cyclone Hudhud and a tribute to the resilience of the people of the city of Visakhapatnam.

The ships in formation made a grand spectacle for the teeming thousands of visitors who lined up the beach road. Giving them the adrenaline push, the Navy commandos gave a display of beach assault. The breathtaking display of precision flying of helicopters by the Indian Air Force Sarang team was undoubtedly the icing on the cake.

Those who missed it can reach the Ramakrishna beach early and get a ringside view of the display which will be witnessed by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday.
