Shanthi Gears to set up service centres

Shanthi Gears Ltd, belonging to Rs.269 billion Murugugappa Group, will invest Rs.100 crore on setting up dedicated service centres at five or six places in next four years.

The Coimbatore-based firm, which manufactures wide range of power transmission products including gears, gear boxes, bear motors and assemblies, on Saturday organised ‘Connect2016,’ a programme aimed at interacting with its customers to know their feedback.

RINL, NALCO, HPCL, VCTPL and several pharma companies deputed their officials to the meeting. Shanthi Gears CEO Rajiv Moorthi explained the infrastructure available with the company.
