Stating that server-related problems are inordinately delaying data entry online by teachers subjecting them anxiety, UTF has threatened to boycott the entry if the situation is not remedied.

UTF State president and general secretary I. Venkateswara Rao and P. Babu Reddy said in a statement that though it had been a month since data entry began the server problems continued. Though all the details were submitted, print option was not being displayed. There was no response if Helpline was called and mailing the problems was also not eliciting response.

“Sometimes for a given ID details of some other person are being displayed and even after inter-district transfers have taken place the details are not updated,” they said in a statement.

Mr. Rao and Mr. Reddy condemned the alleged threat of some officials that salaries would not be credited if the data entry was not completed by June 30.

They demanded that the date for online data entry be extended until the server problems were rectified.
