The members of the Panel of Judges (PoJ) for the Prime Minister’s Trophy for 2014-15 and 2015-16 visited the RINL on Friday.
The PoJ would be in the city for two days to assess the best integrated steel plant for the award of PM’s Trophy for both the years.
The panel comprises former CMD of RINL B.N. Singh, former Chief Advisor Cost, Ministry of Finance, J.K. Puri, Former deputy M.D, Tata Steel Limited T Mukherjee, professor in Department of Metallurgical and Material Engineering in IIT Kharagpur P.K. Sen, Dean Department of Psychology, University of Delhi, N.K. Chadha, professor Production and Quantitative Methods area in IIM Ahmedabad Goutham Dutta, former CMD of Power Grid Corporation RP Singh, former MD of Durgapur Steel Plant V Shyam Sundar and national president National Mazdoor Sangh Baij Nath Rai.
During the two-day visit to RINL, the panel will witness a corporate presentation of RINL and also a presentation on customer satisfaction. CMD P Madhusudan, directors and top management of RINL were present during the presentation on Friday.
On Saturday the panel will participate in CSR activities including a plantation drive and make a visit to various production and expansion units.
