Infosys colony inaugurated

A colony built by Infosys Foundation for Hudhud-affected people was inaugurated at Pudimadaka, about 70 km from here by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday.

The colony created as a model colony will provide decent housing to fishermen hit by Cyclone Hudhud. Infosys spent about Rs.11.50 crore on construction.

Mr. Naidu also laid foundation stone for a 400-unit housing colony for Hudhud victims. The colony, also located at Pudimadaka, will be built by AP State Housing Corporation at a cost of Rs.15.29 crore.

HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Anakapalle MP Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao, local MLAs Panchakarla Ramesh Babu, Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, and Collector N. Yuvaraj were present.
