Two-week programme on Big Data begins

: The two-week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Big Data Analytics began at P.V.P Siddhartha Institute of Technology in city on Monday.

About 65 engineering faculty from various parts of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and others states registered for the FDP which is sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, GoI. Thirty others from Krishna district too registered for the programme. The programme is aimed at enriching the knowledge of faculty in the computer science engineering and information technology streams in Big Data, Hadoop, MapReduce, Internet Of Things, e-Governance, Diskfile System and others subjects which emerged as important tools across the world.
