: While proper inaugurations took place in the case of eight departments such as AP State Road Transport Corporation, Information and Public Relations and Tribal Welfare, in the other six they were symbolic.

The department heads and employees returned to Hyderabad immediately after the formal opening of their new work place, as work was still going on.

“This is only the first ball of the match. It will take some time before the last ball is hit. It may easily take another three months for the employees to migrate and function from Andhra Pradesh in a full-fledged manner. By Dasara, we should have the new set-up in place,” said P. Ashok Babu, president of the AP NGOs Association, on Tuesday.
