NTR University librarian for Colombo conference

VIJAYAWADA: R. Nalini, librarian in-charge and member-secretary of NTRMEDNET Consortium and Digital Library (NC&DL), is representing NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) in the 1 Medical Library Advisory Board Meeting being organized by global publishing major Springer at Colombo from May 25 to 27.

She will make a presentation on the library consortium to which content is made available by Wolters Kluwer Health, Elsevier Clinical Key and other such reputed medical education publishers.

Dr. Nalini told The Hindu that the meeting was aimed at understanding the ‘evolving trends, challenges and achievements of an e-Publishing environment suitable for medical research and practice’.

NC&DL was established seven years ago and has since been successfully providing quality learning material for the benefit of students and also faculty of 40-plus medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
