Much to dismay of Jr. NTR fans, TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh, made a far-reaching statement on Sunday stating that the party would not invite any person to campaign in the election. Mr. Lokesh, who kick-started the Yuva Prabhanjanam in Krishna district, said even actor Balakrishna has been campaigning on his personal interest with a commitment to back TDP to power. “The party hasn’t invited him. Same criterion applies to Jr. NTR as well,” he said. Jr. NTR fans feel that the party had sidelined him in 2009 elections fearing that he would be a threat to Mr. Lokesh.
