Meet on Juvenile Justice Act on June 15

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), in association with AP State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (APSCPCR), will organise a State-level workshop on Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 in Vijayawada.

The one-day workshop will be conducted on June 15 at Sub-Collector’s office. Officials of National and State Commissions will participate.

Child Welfare Commission (CWC) chairpersons across the State, officers of Special Juvenile Police Officers, Juvenile Welfare and Women Development and Child Welfare Departments, Non-Governmental Organisations and various government departments will attend the workshop.

The Commission members will explain on the amended JJ Act, which was passed in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha a few months ago.
