Kamineni slams KCR

June 30, 2016 12:00 am | Updated September 16, 2016 05:04 pm IST - VIJAYAWADA:

Minister for Health Kamineni Srinivas said it was up to the judiciary to resolve the division of the A.P. and Telangana High Court and the Telangana government should not interfere. In a statement to the media on Wednesday, he said it was not fair on the part of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao to criticise the Centre and the A.P. government on the issue, which was to be sorted out by the court itself.

Mr. Srinivas said it was not correct to raise a hue and cry over the bifurcation of the HC without first distributing Schedule IX and X institutions between A.P. and Telangana. The Apex court had ruled that these institutions should first be bifurcated.

Mr. Rao was aware of it, but politics seems to have taken precedence over matters of administration, Mr. Srinivas observed.
