Super Randonneur title winner Sunder Ravella with office bearers of Capital Cycle Club in Vijayawada on Thursday.

Sunder Ravella, a member of the Capital Cycling Club (CCC), has become the first person in Vijayawada to achieve the ‘Super Randonneur’ feat.

Cyclists spare no effort to earn non-competitive titles like Super Randonneur.

CCC office-bearer Satyanarayana Prasad Pidikiti said Randonneur titles were given based on the distance covered on a cycle in a specific duration of time.

“Mr. Sunder earned Randonneur titles for 200 km, 300 km, 400 km and 600 km in one calendar year.

Though he had 12 months to achieve four brevet Randonneurs, he finished them in two months,” Dr. Prasad said.
