28 Diwali special trains

As many as 28 Diwali special trains will be operated on Vijayawada-Raichur-Machilipatnam route to clear extra rush of Dasara and Diwali passengers, according to M. Uma Shankar Kumar, Chief Public Relations Officer, South Central Railway, here on Friday.

Train No. 07243 Vijayawada-Raichur will depart from Vijayawada at 23:10 hrs on Sept. 29, Oct 6, 13, 20, 27, Nov. 3, 10 (on Thursdays) and arrive in Raichur at 11:30 hrs on Fridays. The train will stop at Guntur, Narasasaraopet, Vinukonda, Donakonda, Markapur Road, Giddalur, Nandyal, Betamcherla, Dhone, Maddikara, Guntakal, Adoni and Mantralayam Road stations. Train No. 07244 Raichur-Machilipatnam will depart from Raichur at 17:30 hrs on, Sept. 30, Oct 7, 14, 15, 22, 29, Nov. 4 and 11 on Fridays arrive/depart at Vijayawada at 05:00/05:15 hrs and will arrive at Machilipatnam at 07:15 hrs on Saturdays. This train will stop at Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Maddikara, Dhone, Betamcherla, Nandyal, Giddalur, Markapur Road, Donakonda, Vinukonda, Narasasaraopet, Guntur, Vijayawada and Gudivada stations.

Train No. 07247 Machilipatnam-Raichur will depart from Machilipatnam at 15:15 hrs on Oct 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, Nov. 5 and 12 on Saturdays and arrive/depart at Vijayawada at 17:00/17:10 hrs and will arrive in Raichur at 06:50 hrs on Sundays. This train will stop at Gudivada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Narasasaraopet, Vinukonda, Donakonda, Markapur Road, Giddalur, Nandyal, Betamcherla, Dhone, Maddikara, Guntakal, Adoni and Mantralayam Road stations. Train No. 07246 Raichur – Vijayawada will depart from Raichur at 17:30 hrs on Oct 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, Nov. 6 and 13 on Sundays and will arrive in Vijayawada at 05:00 hrs on Mondays. This train will stop at Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Maddikara, Dhone, Betamcherla, Nandyal, Giddalur, Markapur Road, Donakonda, Vinukonda, Narasasaraopet and Guntur stations.

All these special trains will comprise 17 coaches viz., one AC II tier, two AC III tier, seven sleeper class, five general second Class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
