Two women from Nagapattinam go missing in Tiruchi

Two Muslim women from Nagapattinam district, who had come for shopping at Singarathope here on Saturday, were reported missing hours later.

The names of the two were given Benazir (25) and Busra Bhanu (26). They had come along with 14 other women accompanied by a man in a van from Thopputhurai in Nagapattinam district on Saturday morning.

All the women went to a textile shop in Singarathope. While the other women were shopping, the two reportedly went out of the shop and were reported missing thereafter.

The Fort police have registered a case.
