The Mayiladuthurai–Kumbakonam-Mayiladuthurai Passenger Special trains (06819/06820) have been extended for a further period of three months with effect from June 24, according to a release from the Southern Railway.
‘Welding engineers’
course from July 13
The Indian Welding Society (IWS), Southern Zone, would organise a full-day course on “welding engineers” from July 13 to 20.
The course will be beneficial to candidates who have completed B.E. or diploma in mechanical engineering. The course will cover various aspects of welding including welding processes, welding power sources, fusion and advanced welding, solid state welding, application of robotics and IT in welding, welding metallurgy, emerging materials, an IWS press release said.
