NCC cadets take out TB awareness rally

The National Cadet Corps of 3 (TN) CTC, Tiruchi, in association with the National College Higher Secondary School took out a rally here on Thursday on the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day.

The rally was aimed at creating awareness among the people about tuberculosis disease to prevent it. Lt. Col. R. Srinivasan, Administrative Officer, NCC Group Headquarters, Tiruchi, flagged off the rally. Carrying placards and banners, the participants distributed pamphlets to the passersby on tuberculosis, prevention and treatment. The rally, which started from the NCC group headquarters at Cantonment, went along important roads including Bharathidasan Road, Rockins Road, and Central Bus Stand.
