Members of the Tamil Nadu Government College Teachers Association staged a sit-in protest for the second consecutive day in Thanjavur and Kumbakonam against the State Government move to redeploy an estimated 900 staff of the Annamalai University in other colleges across the State.
Teachers of Kundavai Nachiyar Government Arts College for Women, Rajah Serfoji Government College, both in Thanjavur, Government College for Men, Kumbakonam, and Government College for Women, Kumbakonam, staged the protests.
