June 09, 2016 12:00 am | Updated October 18, 2016 02:21 pm IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:

The Manav Ekta Mission will organise another padayatra from Madanapalle to Mizoram after two years, the Mission founder, Sri M has said.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Mumtaz Ali Khan or Sri M as he is popularly known, said, “We need time to plan. We will be organising more programmes to spread the key idea of Walk of Hope. The next two years will be devoted to that mission.”

The purpose of the 7,500 km yatra taken out from Kanyakumari to Kashmir was to sow the seeds of change and hope.

Throughout his travel, Sri M said he found that no two communities want to live with the stress of clashes. The youngsters have a big role in maintaining peace in the country.

Rich diversity

“Our country has a rich diversity in various aspects- religion, rituals, languages. They should only help bind us, not separate people,” the founder of the Manav Ekta Mission added.
