The All India Inter Sainik Schools South Zone Sports and Cultural Meet got off to a start at Sainik School, Kazhakuttam, on Wednesday. Air Vice Marshal G. Amar Prasad Babu, Senior Officer in Charge, Administration, Southern Air Command, inaugurated the meet. A colourful march past by the participants from the various Sainik schools kicked off the meet, being hosted by the Kazhakuttam school for the second time in a row. Five schools are competing for top honours in volleyball, football, basketball, and hockey.
