Major General Rajesh Tyagi has assumed charge as Additional Director General, NCC (Kerala and Lakshadweep), at the NCC directorate here.
A press note issued here on Saturday said Gen. Tyagi was commissioned into the Corps of Engineers of the Indian Army in 1979 and has had various command and staff assignments. A postgraduate in structural engineering, the General has been the chief engineer in Project Dantak in Bhutan and has served as staff officer in the United Nations Mission in Mozambique. Till recently, the officer was Deputy Commandant, College of Military Engineering, Pune, the press note added.
