Speaking on the occasion, he said Kalam was a leader who was equally popular with the masses as well as with intelligentsia. “A great patriot, visionary scientist and a thinker, he would continue to remain an inspiring personality in the days to come. Kalam will be remembered for his passion for science and innovation and his untiring efforts to ignite the young minds of the country. In his life time, he inspired a generation of Indians to dream big and to work towards making those dreams a reality,” he said.
The former President was a great source of inspiration for the whole world and stood as a leading light for the nation.
As challenges
When faced with difficult problems, Kalam demonstrated the rare quality of looking at hurdles as challenges which were to be conquered, he said. The Director also interacted with students of VSSC Central School.
