Lack of funds would henceforth be not a problem for Kerala’s growth in the higher education sector, Finance Minister T. M. Thomas Isaac has said.
A press note said he was inaugurating a seminar organised here by the IQAC of the University of Kerala and the Translational Research and Professional Leadership Centre at the Barton Hill Engineering College.
The government would render all assistance to elevate institutions of higher learning in Kerala to being the best in the country. Staff in universities and other institutions of higher learning should come forward to help in this transformation and make procedures simpler. Often institutions are not able to utilise the funds given to them by the government, he added.
