Three-day bicycle expo from today

April 01, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:39 am IST - Mangaluru:

A three-day bicycle fair—Bicycle Expo 2016—jointly organised by The Forum Fiza Mall, Taj Cycle and Co. and Elite Events, would start at the Mall from Friday. The expo would showcase innovative cycles, bicycle parts and fitness equipment in one platform.

A release from the organisers here said the expo is being organised to promote fitness as a preventive care and to showcase the latest technology in the fitness industry. The expo would provide a platform to interact with users for exploring business opportunities of cycle marketing in Mangaluru. The expo would be an ideal platform for prospective clients, to weigh varied specifications and finally judge which cycle equipment would be their best choice. The expo would witness the presence of 10 national and international cycle exhibitors under one roof. Among the well known names of the participating brand are Kross Cycles, Atlas Cycles, BSA/ Hercules, Avon Cycles, Fuji, Schnell, UT Bikes, Scott, Foams and Focus Cycle.

A 5-km bicycle rally would also be held as part of the expo on April 3. The rally would commence from Lady Hill and culminate at The Forum Fiza Mall on the eve of World Health Day. For details, call 8970531031.

The expo is being organised to promote fitness, say the organisers
