The evening college of Mangalore University in Hampankatta has invited applications for admission to B.A., B.Com, BCA, BBA and diploma courses in foreign languages.

Study chair

The Mahakavi Ratnakaravarni Study chair of Mangalore University will be inaugurated by the Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Veerendra Heggade at 3.30 p.m. on May 28. Minister of State for Youth Empowerment K. Abhayachandra Jain, the former Chief Minister, M. Veerappa Moily, MP and writer Hampa Nagarajaiah will participate in the programme.

The event will be held at the Mangala Stadium on the premises of the university.

Silver jubilee

The Vijaya Rural Development Foundation will be holding silver jubilee celebration at the auditorium of Bappanadu Annapoorneshwari temple at 10.30 a.m. on May 28.

Vijaya Bank’s Executive Director Nageshwar Rao Y. will be attending the programme, according to an official press release.

Admission

The Government ITI for Women has invited application for admission to computer operator and programme assistant and electronic mechanical courses. The applications have to be filed online by accessing the website www.emptry.kar.nic.in or www.detkarnataka.org. For details call 2216360, 9845226485.
