‘Attack’ Pandi, the prime accused in the murder of ‘Pottu’ Suresh, a close friend of former Union Minister M.K. Alagiri, was on Sunday sent to judicial custody after four days of police custody.

The police said that Pandi was produced before a court and sent to Palayamkottai Central Prison.

Police sources said that the city police had sought another four days of police custody for interrogation of the accused, who was recently nabbed in a flat in Mumbai after 33 months of absconding since the murder. The hearing would be taken up on Monday, the police added.
