Kerala Tourism and Kerala Travel Mart Society will invite badminton star P. V. Sindhu, the first woman Olympic silver medallist from the country, and Sakshi Malik, the first Indian woman to win a wrestling medal in the Olympics, “to relax in and enjoy Kerala’s scenic beauty”.
A statement issued to the press here on Monday said the duo will be honoured at the upcoming ninth edition of Kerala Travel Mart, which will be inaugurated here on September 27. The largest gathering of tourism stakeholders in the State, KTM 2016, organised by the KTM Society in association with the Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala, will be on till September 30.
