: The Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) has ruled out any differences in the organisation over the resignation of actor Salimkumar in protest against actor Mohanlal campaigning for LDF’s K.B. Ganesh Kumar in Pathanapuram during the Assembly elections.

A general body meeting of the association here on Sunday reiterated AMMA’s earlier stance that it had not received the resignation letter of Mr. Salimkumar. Asked why the actor had stayed away from the meeting, Innocent, MP and president of AMMA, said he had submitted a letter earlier citing his inconvenience. The meeting also resolved to launch mobile cancer detecting units to help the needy.
