In a bid to prevent human trafficking and provide succour to victims of trafficking, the Kerala State Legal Service Authority (KELSA) will launch Anti-Human Trafficking Clubs in the State.
KELSA Executive Chairman Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan said statistics regarding human trafficking were alarming. It was really a violation of the fundamental right against exploitation enshrined in Article 23 of the Constitution.
He said that Chief Justice Ashok Bhushan would inaugurate the Statewide launch of the club at High Court on Saturday.
Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala would preside. State Police Chief T.P. Senkumar would deliver the keynote address.
