Kerala Agro Machinery Corporation’s (Kamco) water pump set will be launched by V. S. Sunil Kumar, Minister for Agriculture, on July 30 at the KAMCO headquarters at Athani.
KAMCO, a public sector unit under the Department of Agriculture, has led the process of mechanisation of farming in the State, said a statement issued here on Thursday.
KAMCO started operations in 1973 and manufactures and distributes machinery for agriculture mechanisation. KAMCO started power tiller manufacturing with Japanese collaboration and the organisation began making profits from 1984.
