Coastal security awareness campaign

A team of Navy personnel from the Southern Command in Kochi will conduct coastal security awareness campaign in Ernakulam district between July 27 and 28. The campaign will get under way at the Grama Panchayat Hall at Pallipuram and will also be held at Elankunnapuzha, Fort Kochi and Chellanam. Representatives from the Fisheries Department, State police and members of the Kadalora Jagrata Samiti will also take part in the campaign. Captain Varghese Mathew, Naval Officer-in-Charge (Kerala), will attend the campaign July 28. — Special Correspondent
