Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probing the bribery case against the Malappuram passport officer will soon be arraigning three more travel agents as accused.

Official sources said the accused had received bribe from several agents for issuing passport.

The agency would also initiate steps to register separate case against Ramakrishnan for amassing wealth disproportionate to his known source of income.

Information

The sleuths have also received information about money amassed by the passport officer through illegal means.

Officials are also looking into the allegations that Ramakrishnan, the accused passport officer, had even processed passport applications that had not been moved through Passport Seva Kendras.

The CBI nabbed Ramakrishnan on bribery charges last month
