Two arrested for ganja peddling
The excise special squad headed by Circle Inspector P.L. Jose on Wednesday arrested three persons who were engaged in drug trafficking. Biju, 30, from Kalamassery and Sakkeer, 43, from Aluva were caught while supplying ganja in their autorikshaws. The excise team, comprising Deputy Commissioner A.K. Narayanankutty, civil officers V.A. Jabber, Sajan Paul, T.D. Jose, and Balakrishnan Nair, traced the route of the autorickshaws and the duo was booked near Muttar river. – Staff Reporter
